Video Journalism

Most of my journalism experience comes from the video realm. My official degree classification is in broadcast journalism. At OU, I’m heavily involved with our student newscast OU Nightly, where I work as a senior producer. Outside of broadcast news, I produced and directed two documentary projects with Gaylord News In-Depth. I have also worked on short form social media video projects with both the OU Daily and OU Nightly.

Set inside a homeless day center in Oklahoma City, The Unseen follows the lives of staff and patrons. They navigate daily survival with resilience and grace. This reveals a deeply human portrait of a population our society so often chooses not to see. It highlights a growing crisis that demands not just compassion, but action.
This is a compilation of my work in broadcast news. It features content from OU Nightly, KSWO-TV and Gaylord News in Washington.
