Most of my journalism experience comes from the video realm. My official degree classification is in broadcast journalism. At OU, I’m heavily involved with our student newscast OU Nightly, where I work as a senior producer. Outside of broadcast news, I produced and directed two documentary projects with Gaylord News In-Depth. I have also worked on short form social media video projects with both the OU Daily and OU Nightly.
Set inside a homeless day center in Oklahoma City, The Unseen follows the lives of staff and patrons. They navigate daily survival with resilience and grace. This reveals a deeply human portrait of a population our society so often chooses not to see. It highlights a growing crisis that demands not just compassion, but action. This is a compilation of my work in broadcast news. It features content from OU Nightly, KSWO-TV and Gaylord News in Washington.
